Is Elf a good company to buy makeup from?

I know the products are very cheap but is the products good? And which have you used that you would reccomend? Also, what is foundation and bronzer and should 12 year olds wear it!Is Elf a good company to buy makeup from?
first the brushes are good quality and they do last a long time. you can find some of their products in dollar general or freds. but all their brushes are good except for the total face brush. it has red bristles on it and it sheds all over your face. there face products just dont cut it with me. they are all orange undertoned and they dont last long. i hate their shipping cause it takes about 6 to 7 weeks for them to ship your stuff. also if you buy like alot of things in one order everything will be sent to you leaking and everything. their eyeshadows are good and eyeliners. their mascara i have never tried just cause i have sensitive eyes. their lipglosses are good but for me they tend to be too sticky and they leave behind sticky residue and other stuff. but the blushes are nice and their lashes and also their oil absorbing sheets. :D

Foundation can be really thick and come in all types and everything i wouldnt recommend it for a 12 year simply because you probably dont need it. and it will be too harsh for your skin at a young age. but another thing you can use that is much lighter and healthier for your skin is tinted moisturizer. i use this personally love it:D

Yes, Elf is a great brand! And you can find it super-cheap at Big Lots!


Foundation is a thing that you use to even out your skin tone, so that your skin doesn't look blotchy. It can be in liquid form, or powder.


Bronzer is something that makes you look a bit tanner, and you should really only put it below your cheekbones (contouring), and on the bridge of your nose.





You don't have to use either of those things. 12 year olds really only need concealer (to hide zits or something), mascara, and lip gloss :)

I think it is a great starter makeup. Great for younger girls.





Foundation is a product that, if used correctly, will even out the coloring of your skin. Also, when used with a concealer it helps to hide pimples and such. An important thing if you're looking for your foundation, is that if you tend to break out you should look for a foundation that says oil-free or water based.





Bronzer is a product that gives you a ';sun-kissed'; look. It shouldn't be applied too heavily though as it can make you look like you have big brown splotches on your face.





I don't think I should say whether or not you should wear these products as I do not know you. That decision is ultimately up to you and your parents. As with any decision at your age you should discuss it with them and make sure that they think you are old enough to be wearing these products. Whatever decision you guys come to, make sure that you practice and read up on some beauty tips. :)

Elf is good foryounger girls because its not as expensive.
the eyeliner is okay but you have to try yourself to see . makeup works diffrent on everyone
