I have a couple of elf products. the prices are realllyyyy good but you just have to find what products work best for you. i found that the elf studio brushes are really good especially for the price. i dont suggest using like elf foundations or liners. i really do enjoy the eyebrow kit and the bronzer duo. but if your a makeup junkie why not? i love makeup and use all different kinds so i love trying different products, so if you are as well its worth a try its not expensive.Do you use ELF cosmetics/Makeup ?
You get small amounts of everything.
You basically get what you pay for.
I like name brands that are found in the drug store. You can get the ELF stuff at Dollar Stores.
Yes I love it! Their brushes are really good quality, I also like their eyeshadows! I don't reccomend their eyeliners though, some of their lipglosses are kinda sticky.

elf stands for eyes lips and face. It's a makeup line that sells one dollar makeup. It has this refer a friend thing and every time you refer a friend and that friend makes an order from elf you get a credit. Now when you get 100 credits supposedly you get free makeup for life...i was just curious if anyone has ever gotten it.Has anyone ever gotten enough credits for makeup for like on elf.com?

I'm thinking about buying makeup from eyeslipsface.com and was wondering what you thought of it as a whole (service, products, etc.) I've read that the nail polish, lip gloss, brushes and brightening eye color are all great. So I'm wanting to get some of that plus various things like a make-up bag, eyelash curler, tweezers, etc. Are the products still good? (Because most of the reviews are from a year or two ago.) And I've also read bad stuff about customer service. I'm not concerned if it takes two weeks to ship, I'd just like to have all the stuff that I order.

Well I've never used the make-up, but I am a proud owner of an elf brush (elf professional Defining Eye Brush). The bristles are very soft. It's perfect for applying eyeshadow on my lid, and on my crease, since I'm still saving up for more brushes. But until I get those brushes...then I think that this elf brush will do me just fine!! ;D
Its alright. Not a brand I would swear by though.
Not a fan of their face makeup. Ive heard bad stuff about customer service too. Youd probably be better off ordering from drugstore.com.
They have blotting papers I like.

Everything is $1- $5 and I am hooked.
All the reviews I've seen are saying this stuff is GREAT.
However my parents are skeptical.
My dad wonders what they are REALLY skipping on to keep prices low.
My mom wonders if they have any bad ingredients that can cause a reaction.

ELF is a great line.. I've ordered several times from there.. The things i reccomend are the mineral makeup, mineral blush, their brushes are wonderful, fingernail polish, blotting sheets.. and i could go on for days..
What i wouldnt reccomend is the face products like concealer and pressed powder.. The mineral powder is good.. but the others are just eh, i mean you pay for what you get with those.. Their eyeshadows arent too pigmented like MAC's but, you get some good ones for everyday wear,.
I would say if you want a good face makeup, to go to MAC.
We have ELF in the UK too my friend gets loads of stuff and really loves all of it.
The price is cheap as the amounts you get seem to be smaller than what you would usually expect. That doesnt really bother me as I get bored of a colour after a while.

Well tell your dad that I think the elf site has low prices because with shipping a one dollar item could cost up to five dollars, so if they used the same price as in stores no one would want to buy them since it would be so expensive.

I've owned many e.l.f products, and have never had the slightest problem. Remember they couldnt sell makeup products, if they were not safe for your face. I had never heard of e.l.f. before, but my friend had an all-over color stick that didn't match her skin color well- so she gave it to me!
I absolutely loved it! The color was ';pink lemonade'; and it had a special warmth that I haven't found anywhere else. I'm not a dermatologist, but my skin breaks out fairly easily- and this product didn't cause it to.
So, as a fan of their product line, I'd recommend their stuff- I'd say they're good quality for half the price. Well, more like a sixth :)
I'm a tad skeptical about e.l.f. products too.

Hey, everyone. Im here once again and I want to ask you if you guys can help me with my problem.
I currently living at Malaysia and this lately, I've heard that many of my friends are using a make up product with brands ';ELF'; and they suggest me to buy one for a try. So I tought Im gonna buy any eyeshadow or cosmetic brush from eyeslipsface.com
I make like some kinda of survey all over the web and be one of the member of ELF site. But the time I want to check out and make payment for item I have choosen, it will redirect me into eyeslipsface.asia

To answer your question, yes. some Kmart stores to carry elf studio line. but they are really not reliable. Also certain targets, walmarts and biglots sometiems carry them. But again not reliable. I would order from their personal sight. www.eyeslipsface.com

The all over face stick is really bad. It's thick and heavy looking. It's bad for acne skin too.
For the liquid liner: you get what you paid for.
Don't get the mineral foundation if you have oily skin it just makes it look worse.

and none of them truely loves it, but many many recomended their nail polish (comes in 12 shades) so i tried it, and its REALLY is as great as they said. at $1 it is such a greaat deal, i recomend it. everything else doens't look good at all :/ i heard the brushes are hard and useless, and the makeup hasnt done any wonders. but you should try it out if you want, and form your own opinion about it. personally, i have only tried the nail polish and i love it, and i don't see myself buying anyhting else from their collection.

Its not the best quality, the only things I thought were good were the lip gloss and the shimmering facial whip. Used them for a friends photo shoot and they came out really pretty. The foundation brush isnt too bad actually.

I have purchased from ELF cosmetics only once before and was pretty satisfied with my order. Being new to the brand, i only got a few things, (eye liner, one eye shadow, two brushes, and two lip glosses)....I am planing on ordering from them again pretty soon. I purchased a few of their mineral blushes and their mineral glow a couple of months ago. Hated the mineral glow but their blushes were pretty good. They're a bit chalky but the color is great.
You get get elf at KMart and Burlington's... I know Burlingtons' have those sets.. mine at least.
I love their facial whip as an eyeshadow base. I think it beats Urban Decay Primer, because this shimmering facial whip is sticky, and pops your colors better.

It is better to save up and have better items in your make-kit that actually work, than to keeping buying lots of cheap items that don't.
Think about it. the onlt thing i own is the eyeshadow. I have sensitive eyes and the powder is too loose so it gets in my eyes and the colors are terrible. I don't really like their products.

They are so smooth and soft its unreal. plus i ordered my stuff on like the wednesday and it had come by friday which i thought was really good. but i would really recommend the brushes and tbh the make up too, just try a few products first don't go spending loads there's no point and then you can just make a second order if your happy with the quality of the makeup. :)

Yes I have bought at least one of every product at elfcosmetics.com and I really liked them all, especially the luminance bronzer and the brush sets- the eyelash curler is THE BEST, the eyeshadows come in really pretty colors and as long as you primer your eyelids (you can use all over cover stick for that or the concealer) they'll stay on all day - yes it's all a dollar except bath %26amp; body stuff and mineral makeup and of course the kits - i'm just about to place another order

It's waaaaay better than dollar store items. It's as good as some drugstore brands. It's not as good as department store brands. The eye shadows, brushes, and lips items are great, but the face items, like tinted moisturizer, powder and concealer aren't very great. e.l.f is overall fantastic if it's your first time wearing makeup or if you want it as a gift for a teen/tween. If you're used to makeup and high end brands, it won't be up to your standards. I personally like e.l.f cosmetics because they're cheap and once in a while i can find some great steals. I would suggest getting a full set (mascara, eye shadow, pressed powder, lipgloss and blush creme) to keep as a last minute overnight bag or in the purse or car for mid-day touch-ups. The mascaras they sell don't clump up or run, the powder shadows stay put, the pressed powders look natural and cover well, and the lipglosses - who doesn't love lipglosses? The scents and flavors are yummy! The only thing of theirs that I *wouldn't* recommend are the eye and lip *pencils* as the product inside tends to dry out quickly (or was too dry to begin with) and they are very hard to sharpen without the product in the pencil disintegrating - even with their own sharpeners. Don't get me wrong, I'm a die-hard Clinique fan, but ELF cosmetics are still fun, decent quality and great for taking with you.

Definitely, all my brushes are from there. They're easy to wash, easy to use and generally hold product very well. They're soft and don't shed much.

Well, i haven't used any of the ELF makeup brushes, but i have used some of their other products such as the eyeshadows and lipglosses and a few other products, and i actually found that i've liked some of them considering most of their products are only $1, but i would try using their brushes! I tried elf 2 yrs ago, with a blush, threw it away after two applications. So if you don't really have experience using good makeup I guess elf will probably be good, but if you are use to better, than it will not be a good experience.
elf makeup as a whole is great. good quality for the price, wears well, and doesn't clog up my skin. my only warning: beware their face products (foundation, powder, etc). they usually are darker in person, and have the tendency to be orangey. buy those in a store, not online. otherwise great stuff for a little price.

Their stuff is cheap but it's decent quality. I love their lip glosses and nail polish, it's so quick-drying and lasts a standard amount of time.
Everything's hypo-allergenic I believe, so you don't have to worry about breakouts. I recommend trying the nail polish and lip gloss, those are two of my favorite items.

Is elf makeup a professional brand or something?

yes i have heard of ELF and i have bought some stuff from them. here's my list of what you should buy and should not buy based on my reivews:
BUY:
- eyeshadow brush (very densely packed. buy more than 1)
- shine erasers (may need 1-2 sheets. works fine and removes shine)
- nail polish
- foundation brush (use it as a concealer brush b/c its too small to be used all over your face)
- tweezer
- eyeshadows (some fall out but just make sure you use a good eyeshadow primer, i.e urban decay primer potion)
- bronzing powder in luminance (great if use as highlighter)
- duo cream eyeshadows
- plumping lipglaze
- shielding hydro tint
- lip brush
- bronze/ blush brush
- travel mirror
DONT BUY:
- facial whips (too shimmery. but can be used as a base for eyeshadows)
- lipgloss (it feels like little kid lipgloss)
- all over coverstick (didnt blend into my skin so well)
some products are worth buying! but hey... if you wanna try something out, its only $1 anyways. the items listed above are the products that i have purchased.
it's good for a dollar, so if it's something you're only going to wear once or twice then i say go for it. but if you're looking for makeup to wear every day, then go for the higher quality stuff. i'd recommend MAC eyeshadows, loreal microscopic eyeliners, and loreal foundation and powder. [:

first the brushes are good quality and they do last a long time. you can find some of their products in dollar general or freds. but all their brushes are good except for the total face brush. it has red bristles on it and it sheds all over your face. there face products just dont cut it with me. they are all orange undertoned and they dont last long. i hate their shipping cause it takes about 6 to 7 weeks for them to ship your stuff. also if you buy like alot of things in one order everything will be sent to you leaking and everything. their eyeshadows are good and eyeliners. their mascara i have never tried just cause i have sensitive eyes. their lipglosses are good but for me they tend to be too sticky and they leave behind sticky residue and other stuff. but the blushes are nice and their lashes and also their oil absorbing sheets. :D

I think if you're just starting out with makeup, ELF is an okay brand to start out with. You can play around with all of the different eye shadow quads they have and the cream shadows for relatively cheap (like a dollar each). Basically try to get an eyeshadow from each color family and see how it looks on you. Once you get a feel for what colors suit you best or just what you like, I would upgrade to a brand that is better quality since the pigmentation and color payoff is not that great. Overall, I don't buy their eye shadows anymore just because they're not as pigmented as I would like them to be but if you just want to play around with different colors, it works okay.
Their nail polishes are pretty good and so are their lip glosses. Also if you want a good eye brush, you can get a decent shadow brush and blending brush for a dollar each. I definitely recommend the eye brushes but not the face brushes (the face brushes are kind of prickly).
If you want cheap makeup, I would recommend getting some NYX products from Cherry Culture. They're relatively cheap (not as cheap as a dollar like ELF but still reasonably priced). The texture of the eye shadows is great, they're very pigmented and easy to blend. Many of the NYX eye shadows have as high a quality as some MAC ones! Their lipsticks and lip glosses get mostly high praise from people who do reviews as well.
For both ELF and NYX, definitely watch some YouTube reviews. A ton of people do haul/review videos where they show you some color swatches (so you can get an idea of the true color and color payoff) and talk about how to use them. I think if you do your research, you can confidently order your makeup and be satisfied with your purchases!

There are varying opinions of ELF and the majority that I have seen is that you get what you pay for. Ultimately, as with most other cosmetics, there are some things that you can scrimp on, and some that you probably should go with a higher quality. the makeup brushes are great for the value, very soft and pretty darn durable. The shadow quads for eye brightening color in silver lining, matte mauve and, drama and ivy are really pretty...the shadow color for a custom compact i like best from ELF is wisteria, sage and ivory...their nailpolish is pretty good...i hear that the shimmering facial whip is pretty good quality...just get urban decay or too faced primer for the lids if u want a bit more color out of the shadows...the make up tools are definately a good buy though...i hear the liners/ mascara and the all over face stuff like foundation dont work too well...to me u should spend ur money in make up where it needs to be spent...i think the make up products u should pay more for are...foundation, mascara, lid primer...everything else is workable in depth if u have those 3 things to help the rest along when needed.
it may be good make up but the prices are very low and the quality may not be high. i understand about trying to save money but isnt it better to get something that cost a little bit more money and that last longer than to get some thing that u can only use a couple of times and that doesnt look that good?

You can play around with all of the different eye shadow quads they have and the cream shadows for relatively cheap (like a dollar each). Basically try to get an eyeshadow from each color family and see how it looks on you. Once you get a feel for what colors suit you best or just what you like, I would upgrade to a brand that is better quality since the pigmentation and color payoff is not that great. Overall, I don't buy their eye shadows anymore just because they're not as pigmented as I would like them to be but if you just want to play around with different colors, it works okay.
Their nail polishes are pretty good and so are their lip glosses. Also if you want a good eye brush, you can get a decent shadow brush and blending brush for a dollar each. I definitely recommend the eye brushes but not the face brushes (the face brushes are kind of prickly).
If you want cheap makeup, I would recommend getting some NYX products from Cherry Culture. They're relatively cheap (not as cheap as a dollar like ELF but still reasonably priced). The texture of the eye shadows is great, they're very pigmented and easy to blend. Many of the NYX eye shadows have as high a quality as some MAC ones! Their lipsticks and lip glosses get mostly high praise from people who do reviews as well.
For both ELF and NYX, definitely watch some YouTube reviews. A ton of people do haul/review videos where they show you some color swatches (so you can get an idea of the true color and color payoff) and talk about how to use them. I think if you do your research, you can confidently order your makeup and be satisfied with your purchases!

There are varying opinions of ELF and the majority that I have seen is that you get what you pay for. Ultimately, as with most other cosmetics, there are some things that you can scrimp on, and some that you probably should go with a higher quality. I've heard that the lip glosses are great, as are some of the eye shadows. The rest are ';eh.';
the makeup brushes are great for the value, very soft and pretty darn durable. The shadow quads for eye brightening color in silver lining, matte mauve and, drama and ivy are really pretty...the shadow color for a custom compact i like best from ELF is wisteria, sage and ivory...their nailpolish is pretty good...i hear that the shimmering facial whip is pretty good quality...just get urban decay or too faced primer for the lids if u want a bit more color out of the shadows...the make up tools are definately a good buy though...i hear the liners/ mascara and the all over face stuff like foundation dont work too well...to me u should spend ur money in make up where it needs to be spent...i think the make up products u should pay more for are...foundation, mascara, lid primer...everything else is workable in depth if u have those 3 things to help the rest along when needed.
it may be good make up but the prices are very low and the quality may not be high. i understand about trying to save money but isnt it better to get something that cost a little bit more money and that last longer than to get some thing that u can only use a couple of times and that doesnt look that good?

I am pretty sure that you can buy them at Walmart but I am not sure if they sell them there for $1. I ordered some of the products offline and got to use a coupon code to get 50% off my whole order. I ordered about $25 worth of products (I wanted to see how they worked) for $12 but the order also took 3-4 weeks to arrive. Some of the stuff was absolute junk (concealer), the eye shadows were okay but they come off really quickly. The lip gloss doesn't smell/taste the best, has a little bit of a weird texture, but generally it was okay. Alright here it is, a review on e.l.f cosmetics. E.l.f cosmetics is popular for one thing, being cheap...when I mean cheap I mean $1.00 dollar on all items. Sometimes they have a crazy sale and the items are like .75 cents. Obviously this makeup brand is for the young and trendy and the fact that it is easy on the wallet makes it appealing for consumers. In fact, you can go outside and bash some berries and make a better lipstick than e.l.f''s lipstick. Their products are not even worth $1.00 dollar.
Why is e.l.f so cheap?
* Packaging- Their packaging is pretty basic, bare, cheap and boring.
* Advertisement- They rely more on online ads and word of mouth.
* Cheap Ingredients- Let's face it, you are not going to find sea kelp and retinol in their products.
A lot of people complaint about the slow shipping and how people didn't get some of their items. I had all my items and my items came within a week. So I was happy about that.
I have to say some of their products are OK but not to die for. I personally like their bronzer and lipsticks. Their studio and mineral line is probably something you should take a look at if you're just starting into makeup. Otherwise I would go to your local drug store and check out other products.
For the mineral and studio products, their packaging is better but nothing unique, prices double and not so much tripled but you can understand why it cost a tiny bit more.

Definitely worth it.
i have one or two elf makeup products randomly, and they both gave me really good results. so, yes, from my experience they work well.
