Any random makeup tricks you've learned over the years?

One I've learned would be applying orange lipstick then concealer to minimize dark under-eye circles.

Another would be applying white eyeshadow on the inner corner of your eyes to appear more wide awake.

instead of fully lining the lips, draw a sideways- v shape on each outer corner. this makes the lips look fuller and more natural than overall lining.

applying bottom mascara and eye liner can age the appearance of the face and make it look harsh.

applying mascara ONLY on the outer upper corners of the lash line, lifts the eye and makes it look more open, in addition to very natural.

applying blush/bronzer closer to the center of face, makes the face look longer and slimmer. applying bronzer/blush near the ears and away from the nose/center makes the face look wider.

dusting light powder down the bridge of the nose makes it look thinner. applying a darker color at the tip of the nose makes it appear shorter.

hope these help. [=Any random makeup tricks you've learned over the years?

I don't look as good wearing guyliner as I used to in my youth Report Abuse

I learned that after you apply all of the makeup as you wish it is good to set the blow dryer to a warm or cool and low level, then blow it at your face. It helps your makeup dry without smudging. Report Abuse

Using white eyeliner on the bottom eyelid makes your eyes seem bigger and more open.

It's great after a long night when you have work or something important the next day.

Also ALWAYS smudge your eyeliner after applying. I don't mean make it messy just make it so it blends with your eye better. Report Abuse

+ Apply vaseline to lashes at night to make them healthy and fuller.

You can also apply it in a way that they are curled in the morning.

Just create a curl on your lashes with the vaseline and they should be kinda curly in the morning. Works for me.

+ Apply eyeliner to top lash line to make eyelashes look thicker and longer.

+ Brush your lips softly with a toothbrush before applying lipgloss and the lipgloss will stay on longer!

+ To make eyes look bigger, put a little white shimmer/eyeshadow on the corners of your eyes.

+ Black eyeliner all around the eye will make eyes look smaller and more deep-set but just half way under the eyes and on top lash line will make them look bigger and sexy!

Those are pretty much all the makeup tips I know! (Or at least remember hehe). =]
turning false lashes onto the side gives you the cat eye effect.

putting a little bit of white eyeshadow in the middle of the lips helps to highlight them..

and you can use Urban Decay Primer Potion as a primer for your concealer.
A tiny bit of chapstick on the eyelid before putting on eyeshadow will help keep the eyeshadow on all day same with lip gloss/lipstick on your lips. Moisturizer before concealer is great too. Also put the foundation on then the concealer then the powder and you'll stay fresh all day
When i wake up late and look tired i put white eyeliner in my waterline, and it makes my eyes look more awake and fresh!

if your having a fat day, contour your cheeks!

when doing eye makeup look down to avoid creasing shadow and get a fuller look
dabbing a little eyeshadow on your lower lid then putting eyeliner on looks totally awesome!

never spend a lot on eye creams

dont put eyeliner on your top lid till youve mastered the bottom

dont put baby oil on then eyeliner, it smears(lol!)
white eyeshadow under eyes minimizes dark circles

yellow based concealers are the best for diminishing under eye circles

loose powder helps makeup last FOREVER!! %26lt;3

drink looooots of water
Many drugstore products perform the same as or better than expensive high-end brands, so considering cheaper products first will save you a lot of money.
Put green on red pimples before applying concealer to help reduce the obvious redness
dabbing a little extra lip gloss in the middle of the bottom lip will make your lips look fuller and sleeping with vaseline on your lips will make them softer
your eyeshadow color should never match your shirt

Pick a lighter shade of foundation for your skin
purple eyeliner makes eyes look younger
hold used tea bags under your eyes when you wake up to get rid of dark circles.
Don't wear any - a lot of men go for the ';natural'; look.
In general, less is more.
i learned u don't need concealer all u need is some under eye cream and compact powder and the mixture works very well for people who have very uneven skin tone
too much foundation can make your skin look worse.. less is more!
eyeliner makes your eyes smaller.

if you put blush on the sides of your nose you can make it look thinner and longer.

if you want darker eyebrows or more full looking eyebrows, put mascara on them just like you were putting it on your eyelashes.
add one nice colour then a random one then another shade of the first one, itss the 3 colour trick!
well for me, tilting the eyeliner pencil up makes it go on smoother

winging my eyeliner just a teeny tiny bit makes me look cuter
