Need good makeup tips/tricks?

You can make eyeshadow last longer by wetting the brush with a mixing medium such as vasaline or saline eye drops. Water works well too, but you might have longer results with others.

A primer is always good and doesnt have to be expensive. You can buy 15-20 dollar primer from places like Saphora and MAC, but you can also get a very good primer from ELF for about $3. So I highly recomend that.

It would be easier to help you if you had a picture or at least a description of what you look like (i.e. skin tone, eye color, etc) but whatever.

Don't always just use one shade of eye shadow. I recomend using at least 3. A light, translucent shade like white or silver for the inner corners and brow bone. A medium shade for the lid and under eye. and a darker shade of the medium one one the outer corner and crease. It makes your eyes look bigger and brighter, which is always a plus. But remember, BLENDING IS KEY. You dont want a bunch of harsh lines and obvious markings (same goes for foundation. You dont want a nice even skin tone on your face that suddenly stops and goes like 3 shades lighter. Trust me. BLEND.)

A white or blue eyeliner used on your water line (the inner part of your bottom lid) will brighten and widen the eye.

Cover your lips with foundation, let it dry, then brush powder over them before you apply lipstick. It helps to keep the color longer.

Really, your make up should depend on your style. Like me, I like to stand out so I use lots of bright, fun make up and get lots of compliments on it. My friend Amber likes to keep it simple and only wears a little eyeliner and my ither friends don't wear make up as they prefer to blend in the crowd. Your make up should reflect you, so really the choice is all yours.

Something that I like to do is YouTube make up tutorials. MonroeMisfitMakeup is really good if you want something unique and artsy. But there are tons of videos on there that can help you out.

I would also suggest learning basic make up jargin, so you don't get lost.

And nothing beats good quality make up products. You can be the best make up artst in the world, but if you use crappy cheap make up, it shows.

ELF has really great make up and most of its only a dollar! I love them and order from their store all the time. Shipping is a bit sluggish, but its totally worth it!

Anyway, I hope this helps!Need good makeup tips/tricks?
Depending on your mindset, I totally disagree with all the ';less is more'; comments.

';Less is more'; is good if you're very young and you just want to cover a blemish or you're just starting to learn what you're doing.

But, I think makeup should be fun, and bright colors, well-applied, can do that. I would advise you to wear makeup the way you like it - lots, a little bit, or none - and not to bow to others who would want you to do it differently.Need good makeup tips/tricks?

You can uses your lip gloss on your cheeks to make your cheeks look dewy, but don't use alot.. You can also use your mascara and eyeliner.. Take a fine tipped eyeliner brush, put it into your mascara and then walla! you have instant eyeliner.
-Not too much eyeliner.

-Not too much mascara

-Not too much eyeshadow.

-Not too much foundation.

Do not go overboard with your makeup,

less is more.
remember. makeup is only meant to bring our your beauty, not make your face SUPER noticeable.
Take some shimmery cream color eye shadow and put in on your brow bone and inner corner of the eye, it will make your eyes stand out more
