Any random makeup tricks you've learned over the years?

i learned that you could be applying white eyeshadow on the inner corner of your eyes to appear more wide awake.

Any you've learned?Any random makeup tricks you've learned over the years?
Mascara:

-apply to both bottom and top lashes to make it seem your eyes are bigger

-when applying move your brush back and forth so there are no clumps

-throw away any mascara that smells bad, look bad, or is over 5months old to avoid eye infections

-blue and purple mascara make you look younger and wide awake

-always apply eyeshadow BEFORE applying your mascara

Eyeliner:

-black eyeliner on your water line makes you look like you have smaller eyes

-white eyeliner makes you seem wide awake

Eyeshadow:

-when doing smokey eyes you need two shades of the color. One light one dark.

-never wear eyeshadow that matches your eye color

-wear eyeshadow color that is the opposite of your eye color of the color wheel.

-make sure you are using the correct brushes and not the freebies you get.

Concealer:

-never ever rub it in. dab it in.

-make sure it is the same skin tone color as your skin.

-if covering up pimples or red blemishes use green lipstick. Apply to the area so the redness does not show then apply your concealer

Others:

-When you buy blush, concealer, powder and what not make sure you have one for winter and summer. Your skin tends to be light in winter and tanner in summer.

-Sometimes you need a base for eye shadows cause sometimes it does not come with it. Such as MAC eyeshadow

-remember to clean your brushes every 3 weeks.

-Always play with one feature. NEVER BOTH! Either your eyes and nude lip or colored lips with nude eye.

-When buying blush, bronzer, foundation etc etc test it on your skin FIRST. If you are buying for someone else just give them a gift card. Better to give them something that is useful then to buy them something with the wrong tone.

Hoped this helped~Any random makeup tricks you've learned over the years?
Umm im the 8th grade sooo hears what i kno

--you can apply eyeliner on the top crease of your eyes then put eyeshadow on top to make your eyes pop!

---you can add cover up on your lips to make them look softer

---put cover up on your eyelids then put eye shadow on top to have a fuller color

--use a make up brush to apply a little eyeshadow on your eyelashes after you put the mascara on

hope i could help.
I learned that if I dip my eyeshadow applicator in a little bit of water, and then put in my eyeshadow, especially gold, the eye shadow turns out metallic looking. Its great for a night out =) Also the putting white in the corners of your eyes, I love doing that.
this might sound weird, but slightly pull your eyelid to the side while applying the eyeliner. this makes it easier to put on and it looks better when you let go. also take off your makeup every night before you fall asleep because it looks more natural when you put the makeup on the next day.

hope that helped!
Don't forget about the brows! Nicely shaped eyebrows frame the eyes, but if you neglect them, they will take over your face.If they are sparse, fill them in.

Don't wear foundation that is a shade darker in order to look tan. You will have a very distinct line that is not attractive.

BLEND everything! Eyeshadow, foundation..
Well if you use eyeliner and masscara then you always put the masscara on first, then eyeliner, then one more light coat of masscara on the bottom.

If you do that your eyeliner will be darker and appear to last longer..
Putting baby powder under my eyes when putting on MAC pigment eyeshadows, or any eyeshadow for that matter. So no sparkly peices or eyeshadow falls under the eyes.
Use ice or cold water to close larger pores before putting on makeup.
sometimes if you wet your eyeshadow it goes on prettier
put on all make up light and wear olive green eye shadow to make your eyes look blue
