Do you know why women wear make up ?

Answer, just for you.

So they have the look of constant arousal.

Anyway.

Practice good daily hygiene.

Have a sunny disposition.

Wear hair and clothes that brings out your best features, and everyone will notice there is something special about you.
You might try watching some of the TV shopping channels as they generally sell what is currently in style and the models have current hair styles and makeup. They sell everything from cosmetics and hair products to clothing and accessories. Between that and looking around your local stores you should get a pretty good idea.

Having said that... Create your own style. It's far better to be yourself than to follow the herd.
I don't care about any of that crap.

I've lived my life without it - boys do - so should womyn

Lots of simple beauty tips (including home remedies) here: http://www.fashiontidbits.com/beauty-information.html
    1. Accessorize. A cute necklace or purse can r0eally spice up a bland outfit. Burlington Coat Factory has great accessories and purses. That are inexpensive, but really really cute.

    2. Add color (shoes, accessories, etc.)

    3. Duplicate. When you see someone wearing something you like, try to copy it, but put your own spin on it to make it uniquely yours.

    4. Be different. Try things that noone else is doing. It's not always good to blend. Be different. Be you.

    5. Browse fashion and hair mags.

    6. Get a feel of how others comment. If someone says somethig looks nice. . . then you may be on to something.

    7. Mix and match your existing wardrobe rather than going out to purchase something new.

Can't offer advice on hair and make up. I keep the hair simple and only wear makeup for formal events.

How much do you spend on makeup, beauty products, hair products, etc?

I would just like to know...How much do you spend on makeup, beauty products, hair products, etc?
Younger day spent above 200 per month.

Now hardly. How much do you spend on makeup, beauty products, hair products, etc?
nothing ..natural beauty is the best ;)
    Less than $4.00 a month
Depends on what brand and how much u buy them or how often you get the products. Mine range from 10-30
    I spend around 20 dollars a month!
Hmm...well...lets me see....about 7 bucks for eyeliner....about 3.50 for mascara.....about another 6 bucks for coverup.....eyeshawdow varies.....my mousse is 1.97 for a big can and i usually use about 1 of them per month but i always buy about 5 or 6 at a time so i dont need to keep running to the store just for one thing and my hairspray is about 2.50 but i dont use a lot of hairspray in a month. one bottle can last me about 2-3 or maybe even 4 months. Sooo....its about between 20-25 bucks a month. not bad. oh and i buy some face cleaning stuff but i change that around a lot so that varies too.
Around $40 a month sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends on how I'm feeling and what I'm out of.
    $20-$25 a month!
    i spend close to $40.00.
    no one can count it.
    99 cents.
If your rich 50$ of course. But if not rick nor not poor $5-$10. thats all what i can say
    probably $100 a month...

luck to you and pick me!!!How do I save money buying makeup and beauty products? Hair dye, makeup etc.?
Well it depends, your aunt may have a good job that brings in good income. Or she may have a budget on othet things just so that she can buy hair and make-up products.

I don't recommend buying make-up off other sites as they're cheaper, because most of them are fake. Just limit yourself to what else you can buy, don't go out for dinner as often, or save some money on fuel for your car by walking or public transport for a week.

    These are just simple ideas.

    Good Luck!
You can set up a monthly budget for yourself and buy within the budget. The most important thing is to buy quality not quantity. You don't want lots of fake and cheap makeups.

Makeups will last a long time so when you buy a few nice items each month and after a few months, you will accumulate lots nice products.

What are your fave makeup/beauty/hair products?

Im trying to really find some good quality makeup, hair products so i need opinions!even if its drugstore brand that would be even better lolWhat are your fave makeup/beauty/hair products?
My favorite shampoo is aussie, i use aussie's ';moist'; shampoo and conditioner, it makes my hair SO SOFT and it smells good too! aussie products are pretty good quality for drugstore.

my favorite mascara is a tie, between maybelline full N' soft and maybelline colossal. lashblast is good for natural looking lashes, and i use maybelline great lash for corners because it has a little brush.

For foundation, use bareminerals. it looks the most natural and feels good on your skin. a plus:it doesnt clog poresWhat are your fave makeup/beauty/hair products?

  • What good jobs are out there that involve things to do with hair&beauty/makeup based?

I'm only young, but i need to start thinking about it. I'm in year 9. I don't want to just work in a spa or something like that, i was wondering what other things there is out there? I know its silly. What good jobs are out there that involve things to do with hair%26amp;beauty/makeup based?
    Hi,

I would suggest once you are 18 years of age that you sign up to work with a direct selling company that has to do with health, wellness, and beauty. These types of companies allow you to make your own schedule and earn money. Most provide free training and you will learn so much about the products, working your own small business, sales, marketing, and about yourself.

This type of company will provide you the freedom and some extra income while you are in school.

I am an independent consultant for Arbonne. I love it and we have many students that have been very successful with this business while in school. Some create a huge business for themselves and others just work it a little for extra money.

There are other companies like Arbonne as options to work with. I like Arbonne because they are a green company, all products are made in the USA, they are vegan certified, and friends of the animals. They want to offer products that are pure safe and beneficial. A healthier option and what many people are looking for in health, wellness, and beauty today.

You are young, so take some time to review which company will work best for you, but I hope you include Arbonne in your review. Also read about Robert Kiyosaki author of Rich Dad Poor Dad. He talks a lot about how owning your own business is the good way to get ahead and even promotes direct selling businesses as a great way for anyone to start.

I wish you the best and I don't think you are silly. I think it is wonderful that you know what you would like to do with your life.

    Take care,

KarenWhat good jobs are out there that involve things to do with hair%26amp;beauty/makeup based?
there are a lot of professions in the beauty field. you can be a makeup artist just in general, working at a store for a line and doing make up that way. you can be a personal make up artist, do make up for weddings, events that sort of thing. you could take it to the next level and do movie make up, orrr special effects makeup, which is realllly cool. hair you can do basically all the same things but with hair! or just a regular hair designer, cutting, dying etc etc. You could be a stylist. If you want to take it from a more medical perspective you could go into Dermatology or a different level like an Aesthetician. There's a lot of things to do, it's just finding a job that you can be successful at within it.
Make up artist.. Hair stylist.. Beauty technician..

    :)
    hair stylist.

    makeup artist.

a lot of jobs in movie business..

it really depends on where you live and how far you are willing to go.

Hmm I havent heard of a makeup to reduce the size of your nose. Go to Sephora and ask one of the workers if your not too shy.
I saw this on TV once.

Apply a contour shade which is something a little darker than your foundation, like a blush or light beige eyeshadow, or bronzer, on each side of the ';bridge'; of your nose. that way , the bridge is highlighted, the eyes go up and take away from the nostrils.

is there makeup techniques that is suited for my type of eyes?

    http://www.geocities.com/xneko_miyu/eyes.jpg

i hate how the distance between my eyes and eyebrow are sooo closeI cant find a suitable makeup trick?
i would suggest using a light color to make your eyes look bigger and then sweep it across the lid and into the crease and then use a white/pale pink for under the brow and on the corner of your eyes (inside corner)I cant find a suitable makeup trick?
The best thing to do is use trickery. Put a lighter shadow in the corner of your eyes. Begin to sweep a medium tone towards the middle and apply the darkest to the corners.
Try metallic but pale pinks and silvers

they will make your eyes pop!

and if you want your eyes to be bigger

    try some eyeliner

    black may be too harsh

if i were you i would stick to pastels

    but

    be creative!
get your eyebrows waxed to be higher. or get botox injections to ';raise'; your brows
You have hooded eyelids. Try looking up tips for 'hooded' or 'asian' eyes.

Also your brows arent too thick or anything but they can use some cleaning up. If you dont trust yourself to reshape them you can go to a salon. That will give you some more room...

Anyways I have eyes similar to yours. For the highlight just put it on the outer, upper half of your eye, right below your eyebrow.

    Your FAVORITE makeup trick?

Favorite beauty trick i should say :PYour FAVORITE makeup trick?
thin black eyeliner on inside of bottom eye, but then do a little bit of dark purple shadow under your eyes, then put a nude shadow on, light blush and black mascara. chap-stic works to gloss lips. Your FAVORITE makeup trick?
i mix my foundation with clean and clear morning glow moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer that makes me look refreshed but not greasy.. i use the maybelline dream matte mousse blush in pink satin on my cheeks and bam i look awake and flawless but not caked with makeup

i also cover my feet in baby oil gel at night and cover them with socks.... its sandal season.. no callused feet over here!! haha
heat the eyelash curler before use, put lots of mascara then heat the curler and use it again! super long lashes .. !
Using liquid eyeliner only on the top with the ';flick'; to look more Asian because I'm mixed.
Wetting eyeshadow and putting it on like liquid eyeliner. So many more colors to choose from and fun effects.
Use an eyeliner a few shades lighter that your eye color. Or using coloured eyeliner.
Washing my hair with freezing cold water because it makes my hair super soft and shiny. (:
I always use darker eyeliner, it makes my light blue eyes pop.
using white eyeliner on the waterline to give a more '; awake'; look. i tend to use this a lot.

    glad to help :]
tea tree oil face wash to exfoliate, cleanse, and get rid of pimples.
taking mascara off with baby oil
    Fat lash :D

    What's your favorite makeup trick/secret?

Don't put any on at all =DWhat's your favorite makeup trick/secret?
I like to use a peach colored powder right under my eyes. Just apply and blend. It makes my eyes look so youthful and radiant. What's your favorite makeup trick/secret?
I always highlight the inner corners of my eyes and the tops of my cheekbones.
Un-gloopy mascara, nonsticky lipgloss, most stuff 4om mac wrks wonders
Use white eyeshadow as undereye concealer. Just blend it well to cover the dark circle
Clean your face everyday. Nothing is better than clean.

Exceptions of course to chocolate and peppermint ice cream.
Put on a clear lipgloss. and a bit of mascara!!!!
yeah definitely the eye brow pencil...and putting a creme eye shadow that is a shade lighter than my complexion under my eyes to make them look more awake along with the mascara :D
the trick is to look like you're not wearing any--that's what i go for
bronzer under my cheekbones and higlighter on the top makes may face look less childlike.

also, cleanse, tone, moisturise - morning %26amp; night!
eyebrow pencil! It add sooo much to face in general. People usually dont use it but it really helps.

a nice arch makes your face look prettier

    good question!
Water (well i guess thats a skin secret). Tinted moisturizer. Mascara and an eyelash curler no matter what. And the best one... using shadow and a fine paint brush for eyeliner rather then a pencil. It's perfect for doing a cat eye, it's better for the skin on your eye (your not having to pull it taut whcih causes wrinkles) and it's stays. Plus, you save money because you can use any eyeshadow!
  • good makeup
  • Whats a good makeup trick?

for making your skin look flawless.

any other good ones for anything else?!?!Whats a good makeup trick?
There are sooooo many good makeup tricks. But to make your skin look flawless:

1.drink lots of water. 2. wash twice a day. 3. Exfoliate 1-2 times per week. 4. Invest in a GOOD powder or creme to powder makeup (one that looks like your skin. swipe on the underside of your wrist)

Some other tips: When choosing makeup at the makeup counter for the first time, bring a small flashlight with you to light up your face after application, because the lighting at the counter and the lighting outside is different. You want to look flawless under bright light.Whats a good makeup trick?
wash your face every morning and night and keep your skin hydrated!

when you use a liquid foundation on your face then it will go on smoothly and last longer, also concealing any pimples easily.

mineral makeup works really well, also.

you could also try playing up your lips OR eyes and it will distract the eye from seeing or focusing on any blemishes.

    good luckk!
Well, for skin less is definitely more.

I would shy away from liquid foundations or liquid concealers because all they do is add to the imperfections.

I would suggest a Bare Minerals make-up kit.

They are amazing! You can get them for about 50 dollars at Target, or anywhere online.
Always start with a good moisturizer. I love bare minerals you can put as much or as little as you like and it looks like you were born with flawless skin. I have some chicken pox scars and with this stuff you'd never know they're there.

Its a trick that worked on my cousin, you mix cornmeal with toothpaste, I know it sounds weird but it works!
    i don't know?

What's the trick to washing off waterproof makeup?

Well for face makeup, use any sort of cream cleanser like noxema, olay, dove or ponds.

For eyes, you want to use something with an oil content to break down the polymers in your mascara etc.

Baby oil works, but if you want to buy an actual remover to use, get something that has two visible layers (meant to be shaken before use to combine the solution and the oil), or something specifically for waterproof makeup.

If you get any regular kind, or just use soaps etc, you'll be rubbing your eyes forever, which can cause irritation, infections and skin damage.

I use one from almay that comes in a little jar with pre saturated remover pads... the ';moisturizing formula';What's the trick to washing off waterproof makeup?
Noxema always works for me. It's also refreshing. And good for your skin. Use it to wash....Then use it as a night moisturizer, and wash it off the next day....You'll see it works great. They also have it in generic, which works just as good as the name brand only cheaper. What's the trick to washing off waterproof makeup?
Avon has this really great eye make-up remover if thats what your looking for it is a small white lotion looking type of bottle with a dark dark blue almost like a black lid.Try it.Its the best.AND not to mention cheap.Hope this helped.
    eye-makeup remover

works so well on waterproof eyeliner and mascara
makeup remover for waterproof makeup or the makeup removers with oil is the best
make up remover pads. make sure they have water proof make up written on the outside.
I like to use pond's cold cream and use special eye makeup remover for mascaras, tissue off and use your favorite facial cleanser
Use a waterproof-makeup remover and then use your regular facewash + water. all the best! :)
any kind of eye makeup remover should do the trick.

or just pretty much scrubbing and face wash.

but eye makeup remover is sooo much better because it's not harsh and softens your skin and can wipe off long lasting lip color.
Try baby oil it works great on waterproof makeup......then wash your face with whatever you usually use :)
the only thing i use that is waterproof is mascara, and i use plain old baby oil. then i use a wipie (i use walmart's equate brand in the make up section) and cetaphil. works like a charm.
Soap. Facial wash that's made to take of makeup. Vaseline.
I use Neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser in the shower and that takes off my waterproof foundation and mascara. I love how quick and easy it is to use and then my skin feels sooo clean afterwards. This product can be used on the eye area.
Vaseline is a dirt cheap godsend, especially for that waterproof mascara.

For your cheekbones, put a blush on. make sure its just a little bit darker, and then put a little bit of a highliter on the top of it. also put a bit of highliter down the middle of your nose. sounds weird, but it really works. make sure you blend it really well, or else it looks weird. trust me, i have the same problems, and this works wonders for me.IS THERE A TRICK MAKEUP ARTISTS TO TO MAKE YOUR FACE LOOK SLIMMER? %26amp; CHEEKBONES MORE DEFiNED?!HOW CAN I DO IT?
    Bronzer and powder.....
Blush on top of your cheekbones. Highlighting powder along your cheekbones.
Suck in your cheeks and apply a bronzing powder or a taupe blush (a shade or two darker than your skin tone) in the hollows. Put your normal blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend it back towards the top of your ear. Add a tiny (tiny!) bit of highlighter right along the top of your cheekbone. Be sure to blend everything really well or you will just have big makeup splotches on your face.

Help! Dark circle and deep set eyes.........What is the best concealer or makeup trick?

i have dark circles too! soo annoying! %26gt;:(

people usually put on their foundation and THEN put on their concealer

but this isnt the way to do it, put the concealer on first and then apply your foundation,

the concealer should always be a lighter shade than your foundation and make sure and rub it in well :)

green concealer is good for the dark cirles, but if you cant get that normal skin colour will be ok too :)

as for having deep set eyes.

do NOT wear dark eyeshadow, it will just make your eyes appear smaller :)

use eye liner and mascara and is unreal what an eyelash curler can do, opens your eyes right up.

eye shadow colours for people with deep-set eyes: light pinks, plums, greens, blues etc anything dark like smoky grey will not work

:DHelp! Dark circle and deep set eyes.........What is the best concealer or makeup trick?
Use a brightening stick and a salmon colored concealer only on the parts that need it. Or if you can't find those put some orange lip gloss on before you conceal. It cancels out the blue and covers it really well.Help! Dark circle and deep set eyes.........What is the best concealer or makeup trick?
the best concealer for your eyes would be Laura Mercier's Secret Brightening Powder. It's a pure white powder(very very fine, won't settle into lines), and you only need a tiny tiny dab to make your eyes pop.
The best way is to look up or close your eyes and with a sponge swipe creme concealer under. Then cover with mineral powder or a baby powder.
    try using cover girl
    tea bags work

Whats the trick with mineral makeup?

I just got TruMinerals makeup and so far I think it's good, however I'm not sure what the trick is to making it look flawless. I use the concealer stuff and then put on the foundation part and it seems like you can see where I am putting the concealer! What is the trick?Whats the trick with mineral makeup?
put the foundation on first, you might not need as much concealer as you think, then top it off with translucent powder, i know bare minerals has mineral veil that you put on top, i don't know if TruMinerals is the same way but if it is, top it all off with that stuff.Whats the trick with mineral makeup?
go easier on the concealer, and blend, blend, blend
In general with the brush swirl minerals in the lid frist then tap out excess and buff onto your face.

How do you make dimples in your chin with makeup? is there a makeup trick to it?

If you add a bit of dark makeup - a matte eyeshadow that's a tad darker than your skintone, perhaps, or a bit of light penciling with an eyebrow pencil, you can create the illusion of a dimple in your chin. Apply the product in a short thick line to a crease in your face, or a shadow, or the cleft in your chin, and blend until it looks like a dimple. It'll be there all the time, though.

THERE YOU GO! it looks great, i do it everyday!!!
i know how you feel kinda

    i just started high school

and i had a huge problem with the way i looked

my uncle works at saks fifth avenue

and i recently went to a family christmas party and he complimented me on my makeup

[which is a huge compliment coming from a makeup artist]

    heres what i do:

-i use nude/neutral colors [three different ones like a bronze a really light brown and a medium brown i layer it like at the bottom of my eyelid where ur eyelashes are [with the lightest color] then right above that use the second darkest color then above that use the darkest of the three.] then rub some of it off so that it doesn't look heavy and it looks amazing. i get compliments all the time. and it boosted my self-esteem ;] so you should try it.

and on somedays blue eyeliner looks great if your wearing blue.

it really makes your eyes pop.

    ud look gorgeous. %26lt;3

Hi and thanks for opening this question. I want to know if you guys know any tricks that i can use to get fuller lips. My lips are pretty okay but i want the upper one to be a bit bigger. How can I (WITHOUT SURGERY OR ANYTHING) make it bigger?

I heard you can do something with lip liners. Or shaould i say what can i do with the lipliner to make it look naturally bigger? Like circly at the top and i want it larger and then jus normal lips in the bottom. I have small lips as in they're not wide but it goes out.

Eg: like beyonce's or aishwaya's lipsVery ImpT! Plz Read and Answer! Any tricks for makeup?
There is a way to line outside of your natural lip line to make it seem bigger, but you have to be really good at it. I would suggest putting a gold/silver/white shimmery shadow... just a dab in the little dip under your nose, on your top lip. The ';circly'; or ';cupids bow';, lol :D I do that all the time... that and a shiny lipgloss will always make them look fuller. You can even dab extra lipgloss in the middle of your bottom lip or a bit of the shimmery shadow there (not to where it's obvious).Very ImpT! Plz Read and Answer! Any tricks for makeup?
first, find a lip liner that matches your natural lip color. then when u use it, trace just outside the lip line.then apply the color of lipstick or gloss that u want.
for makeup always use natural colour to your skin so it doesn't look like you have layer and layers on you. -lol-

for a sifisticatedx look you want to have a dark colour on you lid and a light skin c olour on your brow bone..

    Hope I helped:)
You can use a lip plumping lip gloss, those are available any where. Here's a video on Youtube to use with lipliner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHzw7v1ue鈥?/a>
put on lip gloss in the middle and spread out. Put a dab of shimery gloss in the middle of the top to make it look bigger
okay. well this is wat i do. i already hav pretty big lips. bt to make them bigger and poofier. after brushing your teeth and the toothbrush has been rinsed. tap off the water and make sure your lips r dry. brush all over your lips. up and down and in circular motion. all over. this will not only take off dead skin bt also make ur lips look huge. they will be red then when they dry they look pouty. if u need a lil more moisture and find ur lips end up too dry then swipe on some vaseline beforebrushing your lips. good luck!!

Stage makeup techniques, tips & tricks?

what is the best way to apply stage makeup?Stage makeup techniques, tips %26amp; tricks?
Do really thick black winged eyeliner, then a bright colour like bright blue on your eyelids up the the crease. Then at the crease and a bit above apply a dark colour of a similar shade. With blue you could do a really dark navy blue, or grey. Or you could do light brown then dark brown.

Then with white shadow or white eyeliner do lots of white under your eyebrows and then tons in the inner corners of your eyes.

Red lipstick looks best on stage.

For foundation, always go one to two shades darker than you would normally wear.

    Fake eyelashes are great too!

    Lots of blush.

  • Tricks to make makeup last longer?

by the end of the day its all gone! i have the liquid foundation and podwer to go on top. i need a trick that will make it stay WITHOUT BUYING ANYTHING. like i herd spraying water on it helps or hairspray( but that clogs pores even more).Tricks to make makeup last longer?
I agree with you...NEVER spray hairspray on your face! That is one of the worst things you can do; it will clog your pores, cause terrible breakouts %26amp; probably do some type of damage to the skin...especially, if done everyday.

The spritzing with water or a mist technique generally works with powder mineral makeup %26amp; it does work well, especially when you pat your face with a flocked sponge. Yet, with traditional or a liquid foundation, I'd see it being counterproductive and do the opposite of what you desire.

The best advice I can give is to use a very good moisturizer or aloe vera gel (if you have oily or combo skin) under your makeup, but allow about 5 minutes for it to soak into the skin before applying your makeup. The other thing that is very useful is getting a good liquid primer, but that does require buying something.

I'm sorry, I'm not of much more help. You also might just have the wrong type of liquid foundation for your skin type...some do better with oilier skin types while others do better with dry or normal. Good luck.Tricks to make makeup last longer?
You are very welcome. I'm sorry I wasn't a huge help, but I wish you the best of luck. I wear mineral cosmetics and love Lumiere www.lumierecosmetics.com (if you're curious). Thank you for choosing my answer. =D Report Abuse

Without buying anything is tricky, but I have heard of sticking your face in the freezer for like 30 seconds will help set your makeup.

Or try using a product you already have.

Wash your face well before you start, then use your favorite lotion that makes your skin super super soft. The lotion will act as a filler and help you makeup go on smoother and last longer since it will have something to stick to.

I doubt spraying water would work, wouldn't that just wash it off and make it runny?
a light mist of a hairspray will def do the trick its done in the salon all the time or putting your concealer on your eyes before the shadow will help

Since I'm turning 15 soon, I don't know, I just want to look prettier. I think I'm hideous and all of my friends wear make up and are prettier!! Sorry, can someone please help me? Thanks a lot!! :) :) :)I really need makeup tips and tricks :)?
Just start wearing makeup. Gradually put it on so you don't come to school one day looking completely different. Buy mascara, eyeshadow, pressed powder foundation, eyeliner, and lip stain/gloss over the weekend and experiment and find a good school/weekend look. Don't experiment before you go to school, trust me. Drink TONS of water and sleep good for clear skin and always wash your face at night. Here is a good website for makeup application tons of other beauty stuff ranging for stuff teens wear to old people.

www.trybeautytips.comI really need makeup tips and tricks :)?
if you're just starting to use makeup, go natural. Apply a light cover of mineral powder foundation, liquid foundation can make you look fake. Try appling a bit of bronzer to the apples of your cheeks. sweep on a natural colored eyeshadow, and a little eyeliner and mascara. Dont do lipstick, just lipgloss.
Eyeliner is good but please don't overdo it. Mascara is a must %26amp; a lightly tinted lip gloss. I would try neutral colors of eyeshadow to start out with. Once you master mixing the colors you could get a little more bold. GL %26amp; Have Fun with it=)
Alright, I would suggest visiting your local MAC counter, if you have one. If not, I suggest either Sephora or Lancome. At MAC if you buy 40$ worth of products (it's easy, believe me!) then a mac artist will do your makeup. I highly suggest this! They will show you what foundations, powders, shadows, colours, liners, lipsticks, glosses look good on you and how to make you look rockin'. That's what I did when I started makeup and have been wearing MAC ever since. It's top of the line, great quality makeup, and long lasting! Check it out. :]
    keep it simple:

eyeliner on the top lid and maybelline full n soft mascara

    pink cheeks or bronzer

    gloss with a pink tint

light, natural eyeshadow (bronze, brown, taupe etc)

    hope this helps :)
wear lipstick, mascara, make your hair, wear cute clothes, wear blush, eye shadow, and use some kind of cream to make face marks dissapear and pimples and zits dissapear.
First of all, I'm sure that you look lovely. We always feel that others are prettier because we're sick of looking at ourselves in the mirror. However, you can try:

    1. Buy some concealer that matches your skin. Use it to cover blemishes and/or undereye circles. If you'd like, buy an easy-to-apply powder foundation, like L'Oreal Bare Naturale.

    2. Try using black mascara (I recommend CoverGirl's Lash Exact mascara). Long eyelashes will make you look bright and awake.

    3. If you want, try using eyeliner. Buy an eyeliner pen (as opposed to a hard pencil) and line INSIDE your lashline. This will define your eyes.

    4. Use a little bit of clear or tinted lipgloss. It helps your lips look juicy and enticing.

    I hope I helped!
    1) you should always use a base for your eye shadows, i recommend urban decay primer potion

2)you should always line your lips with a lip pencil and then a shimmery lip gloss over it. p.s nudes go great

3)if you use foundation smash box primar is great =-]

4)if you need anyhelp you should go to MACcosmetics.com and do the live chat and they will answer your questions

    p.s also check SPECTRA.NET
Start watching tutorials on YouTube. They should help you to get the hang of it - You'll know immediately what you'd like to try and what you want to stay away from when you see it. You're young. You are NOT hideous. No amount of makeup in the world is going to cure your issues with self confidence. if you keep believing that, you wont want to wash the makeup of at night because you won't be able to stand the sight of yourself without it.

1st things 1st. a)Tell yourself that make up enhances your natural beauty and complements your unique features.

    b) Don't go covering up your face and the girl that your friends and fam know and love. Your face deserves better than that from you.

    c) Always do the best you can with what you've got. Keep it simple and remember that makeup is supposed to be fun. Not a necessity.

    Good Luck! :-)
Girls with tons of caked on makeup are less attractive than a normal girl with little or no makeup on. God knows what those girls are hiding when they paint themselves up like clowns - at least with the other girl, you know what she looks like without ';help';.

Bottom line - don't overdue it
I'm sure your not ugly but eye liner helps no matter what,

brown/ hazel eyes- brown eye liner

    blue/green eyes-black eye liner

    hope that helps:)
Go for a more natural/simpler make up look. Apply black eyeliner on your top lid and lightly on your bottom lid. Wear brown/tan/ or gold eyeshadow since it matches most everything and truly looks good on just about everyone. Clear lip gloss, and bronzer. Also, getting your eyebrows done if they havn't been already makes a very big difference and I totally reccomend it if you wanna feel prettier.

do a darkish eyeliner and smudge on the bottom. use a tanish/brown eyeshadow and also blend some dark brown eyeshadow into your lash line. use bronzer mainly on your cheeks and cheekbones but dust some on all over your face. try a darkish pink lip gloss and put your normal chap stick over it to make it not so sticky and the color more natural.

    ????
a good summer look is to wear your hair wavy and put a light tan shimmery shadow with no eyeliner and just mascara (make lashes look longer) and put on a good lip gloss. it will look natural!
for the oh so easy natural look simply splash your face with ice cold water every morning to bring some colour to your face. Wear some black or brown mascara on your lashes. Use a tiny bit of blush to define your cheekbones (or just pinch your cheeks) and use either a slightly tinted or clear lipgloss/lipbalm. A good trick to fake bright healthy skin is to grab some vaseline and just dab a tiny bit on the top of your cheekbones, when the light catches the shiny part it makes you look as if you have flawless skin. Also wipe a tiny amount under your eyebrows, it makes your eyes look wide and awake! hope this helps :)

What can I stain my lips with? give me tricks and/or makeup I can use?

red food colouring mixed with some water, dabbed on ur lips gives a great colour then apply clear lipgloss over that for the perfect finish! What can I stain my lips with? give me tricks and/or makeup I can use?
Koolaid works, and so do some foods, like berries and beets. Also popsicles. You can also mix eyeshadow with a clear gloss or vaseline to make your own custom shades.

if you鈥檙e going to get rid of redness, you need to be certain about the cause. For acne try Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are common topical treatments for acne. Tea tree oil, another topical treatment, is gaining popularity. It has proven its efficacy as a natural astringent in countless trials. You can purchase tea tree oil in products like pads and gels, or you can purchase pure tea tree oil to apply directly. Some also mix pure tea tree oil (3-5 drops) in an aloe vera gel for overnight application. If these treatments fail, it may be time to visit a dermatologist. Rosacea Treatments. Though groundbreaking research is being done, there presently is no cure for rosacea. Doctors will prescribe topical and oral antibiotics to bring symptoms into remission, and you鈥檒l undoubtedly keep using topical treatments, such as metronidazole and sulfacetamide, to keep them there. To get rid of redness caused by allergies or irritation, you鈥檒l need to find the cause. get rid of redness simply by getting rid of harsh acne products and irritation cosmetics. Treat the red areas with hydrocortisone cream, avoid irritants and allergens, and you鈥檒l get rid of the redness quickly.

The best make up tips for brown eyes draw attention to those peepers. If you have brown eyes try the darker matted colors and create a smokey eye effect. Your daytime look can be simple or dramatic. You can pull it off.

Pretty, springtime eyes can be created using some of the new pastel, frosted eye shadow colors. Try some of the new offbeat colors like pink or yellow. Use them to line all the way around your eyes.

You lucky gals with brown eyes have lots of makeup options. You can choose to wear eyeliner or not. A lot of looks that would be too harsh on a woman with lighter eyes, looks great on you.

Those of you with light brown eyes have such an unusual color it would be a shame not to highlight them. Definitely try the smokey eye look and experiment with lots of different colors. Use lots of muted shadow liners and crayons.

When you are creating a dramatic eye, or emphasizing the eye, remember to leave the rest of your makeup subtle. Too much all over makeup will just make you look too made up. To avoid looking clownish, never emphasize more than one part of your face at a time.Makeup Tips %26amp; tricks? Have any :]?

Makeup: Is there such thing as a makeup trick?

I am going to a school where I just realized a lot of girls where makeup and have small noses. Mine isn't huge but, I would like to make it look like smaller. I need some makeup tips to make the nose look smaller than it really is :)

THANKS!!!Makeup: Is there such thing as a makeup trick?
Ignore that girls comment down there! If you want your nose to look smaller then dog-gonnit you have every right to want to learn how! lol makeup artist are like magicians! they have the power to not only enhance, but to hide things we don't want others to see. So of course this is going to be something you'd want to learn how to do. Try looking up ';maleup tutorials'; on youtube. They have EVERYTHING on youtube and the great thing about it is you can actually physically see someone applying the makeup, which makes it easier to imitate. But with the nose trick I believe you would apply concealer down the sides of your nose to make it appear slimmer. I've seen that done before...Makeup: Is there such thing as a makeup trick?
You would definitely have to be picasso w a makeup brush and learn some good techniques on highlighting to get the right effect. Seriously though, don't turn to makeup to work miracles even tho it does for some women, just embrace your nose and work it.
use concealer on bridge of nose then put some dark eye shadow on the side of your nose to make it look thinner.

TRUST ME it works! Lol (:

make sure the concealer and shadow doesnt make your nose look shiny. brush it up with some powder.
One thing you can do is part your hair on the side. When you part it in the middle it brings the attention to the center of your face and down the middle, where your nose is. Try it!
why cant people accept their images for...their images!!

    you make my head hurt.

stop being a dumb fourteen year old.
different layers of shading help, not sure how.. i only replied because mine name is paige too :) lol

    Hair and makeup ideas/tricks..?

im 17 and i want to look older as far as like more mature and sophisticated with the way i do my hair and makeup and even dress...how can i do this ?Hair and makeup ideas/tricks..?
what mostly makes a person look older is by using makeup. You should touch up your eyelids and lips with a little bit of makeup from clinique.Hair and makeup ideas/tricks..?
it depends on where youre going, and the ocassion. but dress mature and high fashion. dont wear the skimpiest clothing, or like hollister and stuff. it can be cute, but idk. it depends what youre into. try to stay away with shorts with gay words like ';im cute'; or whatever. try acccessories and SHOES!

as for make up, try to bring out a certain feature like your lips or your eyes. dont put on soo much make up, unless youre going out for something special, if even then.

just look at magazines and stuff.
Some tips to help you look more mature would be to try a liquid liner on the upper eyelid, and wear blush. Most young girls do not use blush. If you avoid making your eye brows to thin and wear makeup colors that are more natural and earth toned you can emphasize sophistication which usually comes with age. I am a makeup artist so these are just suggestions...Wearing a lip in either mauve or rust can help add age (usually we get opposite requests lol). Just stay away from trendy colors and anything too pink. Af far as your hair, no ponytails, clips, or drastic highlights as these are associated with youth...as for clothing, dont wear anything you think your best friend would wear (unless she is older than you). As we mature we learn that less is more when it comes to makeup but not so in clothes...good luck!
keeping it simple is the key. don't over do the make up. simply highlight your features. maybe try usuing hot rollers in your hair for loose waves. you don't have to have a big prom updo to look older. you should dress in whatever you feel comfortable in because confidence looks awesome on a woman.

Hey does anyone have any random beauty tips/tricks for hair makeup etc?

if you have baby hair...take an old toothbrush and spray hairspray on it then take it and comb back your hair %26gt;%26gt;it works great!

perfume: it lasts longer if you spray it in your hair! :) (body spray too)

if you put too much lipstick or lipgloss take your finger and put it in your mouth. close your lips and gently pull it out. all the excess will come off and your lips will be perfect.

use blue eyeliner to make your eyes look whiter.

use a blue based lipgloss to make your teeth look whiter.

use white eyeshador or liner to make you look more awake.

hope this is good :)Hey does anyone have any random beauty tips/tricks for hair makeup etc?
    1. Do your eye make-up before doing the make-up for the rest of your face. That way if you mess up on your eyes, you don't have to start your whole face over again.

    2. If you don't have time to clean off a make-up brush, but want to use it, and it already has a different color of powder than the make-up you plan to use, just gently rub it on your finger until the powder is off then wash your hands. This isn't the best thing for your brush so make sure only to do it when you have to!Hey does anyone have any random beauty tips/tricks for hair makeup etc?
%26gt;When you spritz perfume on its better to have lotion on, because the perfume will stick to the lotion longer

%26gt;To prevent frizzy hair, comb out wet hair with a wide tooth comb (brushing weakens hair)

%26gt;Pat (not rub) freshly washed hair

%26gt;If you have problems with mascara, try the Organic Wear Kind

%26gt;If you have split ends, the best solution is to get them trimmed, because it makes hair look healthier

%26gt;Always wash make-up off before you go to bead because it will clog pores and cause acne otherwise

%26gt;When applying eyeliner (except if you want the rock punk look) only apply it to the bottom lid

%26gt;It's better to let your hair natually dry, because heat can damage it

%26gt;When you're all done washing your hair rinse it with cold water because it makes the cuticle look shinies

%26gt;Contrary to opinion...brushing your hair 100 times a day does not make it shinier...it makes it duller. You should brush your hair just until it looks shiny-however many or few strokes it takes
when you have a zit, if it's big, ice it. then cover it up with green (yes, i know) concealer. This will reduce redness. Then cover that with normal concealer. If it still looks really red, use the green concealer again.
you dont even have enough info here we dont know if your hair is long, short or what curly straight... what color are your eyes, skin...?

    Makeup tips/tricks! please help!?

ok I have big green eyes, an olive tone skin color, and short brown hair. I have all the makeup supplies like foundation, eye liner, eye shadow, blush, blah blah blah. I am really good with makeup but I want to try something new. I usually wear a bunch of heavy eyeliner, mascara, light eyeshadow, foundation, and a little bit of blush, but I want to change it up a little. So any tips?Makeup tips/tricks! please help!?
i love makeup and i'm very good at applying it. brown/gold shades always makes green eyes pop! avoid the heavy eyeliner because that's so childish and it takes away from your beautiful green eyes. i would suggest a smokey eye using different shades of brown and use liquid eyeliner for the top and keep it thin, you don't need any eyeliner for the bottom because you already have a lot going on, and mascara is a must! a little blush and a nude lip gloss will finish it off. don;t forget to always use a lotion or foundation of minimum SPF 15 to avoid sun damage to your face. i have a few videos that i watch on youtube and this woman gives really helpful tips and shows you how to do about basically everything!

    have fun! :)

Tricks to help makeup stay on in water?

    i'm fourteen.

going on spring vacation with my best friend soon.

anyways, i don't mind people seeing me without makeup on, but i want ways to keep it on while swimming.

thanks you guys (:Tricks to help makeup stay on in water?
I'd prefer to worry about sun protection on my face other than make-up. I went swimming the other day with my waterproof mascara, and it still smudged down my face..

Spring time is when it starts getting warm for Summer, and getting sun burnt isn't nice. Haha, I know from expirience. ;DTricks to help makeup stay on in water?
    Buy waterproof makeup.
You have to get waterproof makeup. There's no other way around it sweetie. Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear. But it's the truth. Anyone who says it isn't is lying to you.
Waterproof makeup. there are no tricks.
    buy waterprooff make up.

    there's no tricks.

but if you have liquidd eyeliner that would work too.

but thats bout all you ccan do.
Just slap it on ha ha, try putting a moisturizer on 1st then make up that works for me, but there is no guarantee this will work.
It won't all stay on. But at any good makeup store you can buy CLEAR mascara. It makes your lashes longer and defined, but nobody will notice if it comes off in the water.
for eyeliner and mascara you need to buy a waterproof one

but don't put too much of those on because it can still smudge

for blush well you would have to find a creme with oil in it

same with foundation it needs to be oil based

    oil and water don't mix

    so it just works

    and for lipgloss

any should work they don't like mixing

Got any makeup tips/tricks? (Anything, eyes, lips, whatever)?

Things to do with white eyeliner:

For Eyes- apply the white eyeliner pencil on your waterline ( the wet part of your eye before it goes into your bottom eyelashes). This makes the eyes look wider and you look more awake.

For Lips: Line your lips with white eyeliner and smooth it in to make your lips look better shapes and slightly fuller. Smooth in with a cu-tip.

Eyebrows: place the white eyeliner under your eyebrows by tracing the shape of your eyebrows and rub it in so you don't see too much white. Rub it in with a cu-tip.

For fuller or better shaped eyebrows use a eyebrow stencil and eyebrow powder.. These things do wonders with your eyebrows and make them look Perfect! They can be found at your local walmart and cost no more than $4 each.

place the stencil on your eyebrow and using an eyebrow brush apply a small even amount of powder on your eyebrow following it with the stencil. DONT APPLY TOO MUCH EYEBROW POWDER! It will make your eyebrows look deep dark and doesn't do the face any justice.

How to make your nose look smaller:

apply a bronzer on the sides of your nose( still on the nose just the two sides) as well as down the center of your nose. Smooth it out using a brush ( small blush brush could work).

Hope these small tips help :)Got any makeup tips/tricks? (Anything, eyes, lips, whatever)?
Hello! Contoring is the best tip i can give :)

Sorry if youv heard about it before..but ill explain anyway!

Basically you need to start with a good foundation, then on top conceeler under the eyes and blemishes and a powder all over to set. This is when contoring comes in- usuing a bronzer afew shades darker than your foundation, suck your cheeks in so you can see where your cheek bones are, then under the cheeck bones use a brush to sweep the bronzer from the ears to just before the corner of your mouth, this makes your face look slimmer and your cheek bones more prominant, then use a highlighter on your cheek bones. To slim down your nose use the same bronzer on either side of your nose to make the sides slightly darker, and then the same highlighter down the center.

Also eyebrows are realy important when it comes to makeup, if they are quite thin or light, use a eyebrow pencil to fill them in, as natually as possible, as your eyebrows frame your face.

Also for lips use a liner all the way around your lips to make them bigger and stand out more, then fill your lips in with the same colour lipstick and blend the line in with the lipstick, then use a gloss. Also dabbing abit of the highlighter on the center of your bottom lip and on your cupids bow makes your lips appear fuller

xGot any makeup tips/tricks? (Anything, eyes, lips, whatever)?
*** Pick me for BEST answer, and I'll have MORE where that came from! ***

    1) Eyes: apply mascara just to the TIPS to make them look fuller and longer

    2) Eyes: apply eyeliner as CLOSE to the lashline as possible

    3) Lips: apply a lighter shade of foundation/concealer on the outer corners of lips. Why? they're usually darker on those areas

    4) Lips: Can't afford lipstick? Buy an inexpensive ($1 !) eyeliner at your local store. Use it to fill in your lips

    5) Lips: Apply extra lipgloss in the center to make them look bigger. This is only if you want to look like you have a bigger pout. Not everybody wants bigger lips.
1.After putting on lipgloss/stick etc put your indexfinger in your mouth, close it and then take your finger out. Any excess product will be removed:)

2.Put a bit of (white)shimmery eyeshadow in your cupid's bow(the bit above your lip %26lt;secondhttp://bjooti.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/bow2.jpg%26lt;second image. This makes lips look larger.

    3. If your going to get your picture taken and you want to put on eyeliner, you have to put it on your lower lashline too or else your eyes will look weird.

    Hope this helps!
Lipstick tip: with a lip brush use three coordinating shades i.e. brown darkest brown on the outline a little lighter brown as a center fill in and a beige gloss only the center if gives lips a nice full look pick 3 coordinating shade be it red lighter red and red tint gloss burgundy a lighter Burgundy and light pink tint gloss

What is your favorite makeup trick?

Ready? Set? GO!What is your favorite makeup trick?
Freeze your eyeliner pencil before you sharpen it and of you only have a minute to do make up before you fly out the door, use mascara and lip gloss. What is your favorite makeup trick?
I'm a rep for Clinique and I've got a great many ';favorite'; tricks. I guess my best kept secret is that I like to pick up a cheap Rimmel lipliner (I use Spice) and line my lips and color them in with the liner. Then I dab on just a bit of gloss (I use Clinique's lip plumper in Glamourful). My lips keep their color and fresh look all day. I can eat, kiss, and do a hundred makeovers and still look like I just applied it.

My absolute FAVORITE makeup trick is to put the same foundation you use on your face, on your lips! Take a foundation sponge, and dab the foundation on your lips. Finish it off with shiny clear lipgloss, and smokey eyes. looks totally chic, and I guarantee you'll be the only person in the room with the same look.

PS: It is a nighttime look. =)
I like to put a shimmery powder(not glittery though just shimmery) that is a few shades lighter than my skin tone above my cheek bones, and then on my cheek bones I use a rose colored blush, it makes my cheek bones stand out a lot more :D

Also, your lipstick should be the same color as your blush(or a tiny bit darker).

Oh and lipliner, this isn't really a tip but use it. Seriously, I never used it before because I thought it wouldn't do anything but it makes my lips look fuller and yeah just use it.
i put my lip gloss and mascara in warm water..and it makes it come out nicer so that it doesnt clump.

also i like to use my coverup all over my face even cover my lips and put some clear gloss looks natural.

i also carry a lighter so that i can burn the tip of my eyeliner pencil so that when i line my eye it come out brighter
I love it when girls wear non-garish make up perfectly natural. Except for delicate eyeshadow, and you know that sorta liquidy eyeliner that girls trace over their top lash line, and sorta extends to make sorta a cat like eye effect. LOVE IT!! also, smokey eyes and pale pink lips!
wear creamy eyeshadow under regular eyeshadow.. it makes the colors so much vibrant and shinier ... also highlighter on the top of ur cheeks makes u look flawless
i love to mix my tinted moisturizer with my foundation, that way it doesnt cake on and it gives my face a shimmery look :)

Applying olive oil on your lips after putting on lipstick.
lining your water line and applying foundation with a brush. and concealer around the nose.
good moisturizer is always the first step and of course bronzer

I would say wear glittery makeup...and lots of bright colors...=)For halloween im dress in as a fairy and i have no clue how to do my makeup ! any tips or tricks ? ?
ok, in that case i'd say wear white (with some grey if you're good at make up) eyeshadow, black eyeliner, black mascara (and fake eyelashes, if you want), and glitter all around your eyes, down to your cheeks. you could also wear light pink blush and lipstick/lipgloss if you want. also, if you have any glitter lipgloss, that would look really nice too.For halloween im dress in as a fairy and i have no clue how to do my makeup ! any tips or tricks ? ?
    A Fairy:)

Good... Umm do your makeup with pink lipstick and pinkblush, wear black eyeliner but not too dark make it look a little natural. Wear green eye shadow with sparkles and wear not too much but so that it is noticeable and then mascara...

to making your eyes look bigger? Are there any makeup tips/tricks?
-use white liner to look awake

-black liner on your bottom lash line starting from the middle to the outer corners(dont put it on the white part or else tht will make it smaller)

    -Curl lashes

-Dont put mascara in the bottom lashes

-Try gold shadow on your lids and your bottom lashes this will make you look awake and make eyes biggerAre there any makeup tips/tricks?
white eyeliner makes them look awake. so i guess it makes them look bigger too.

I know balck makeup makes them look smaller

so try light oclours. like peache or golds, (depend son your hair colour and eye colour)

But yeah try the white eyeliner. or work on your eyebrows? lifted eyebrows makes eyes look more awake and we look at them more. Just bring peoples focus on them.

Usually before I put it on, I start with foundation so the powder has something to stick to obviously. %26amp; I always put it on before my mascara/lipgloss etc. so that it doesn't stick to it.

    Need good makeup tips/tricks?

You can make eyeshadow last longer by wetting the brush with a mixing medium such as vasaline or saline eye drops. Water works well too, but you might have longer results with others.

A primer is always good and doesnt have to be expensive. You can buy 15-20 dollar primer from places like Saphora and MAC, but you can also get a very good primer from ELF for about $3. So I highly recomend that.

It would be easier to help you if you had a picture or at least a description of what you look like (i.e. skin tone, eye color, etc) but whatever.

Don't always just use one shade of eye shadow. I recomend using at least 3. A light, translucent shade like white or silver for the inner corners and brow bone. A medium shade for the lid and under eye. and a darker shade of the medium one one the outer corner and crease. It makes your eyes look bigger and brighter, which is always a plus. But remember, BLENDING IS KEY. You dont want a bunch of harsh lines and obvious markings (same goes for foundation. You dont want a nice even skin tone on your face that suddenly stops and goes like 3 shades lighter. Trust me. BLEND.)

A white or blue eyeliner used on your water line (the inner part of your bottom lid) will brighten and widen the eye.

Cover your lips with foundation, let it dry, then brush powder over them before you apply lipstick. It helps to keep the color longer.

Really, your make up should depend on your style. Like me, I like to stand out so I use lots of bright, fun make up and get lots of compliments on it. My friend Amber likes to keep it simple and only wears a little eyeliner and my ither friends don't wear make up as they prefer to blend in the crowd. Your make up should reflect you, so really the choice is all yours.

Something that I like to do is YouTube make up tutorials. MonroeMisfitMakeup is really good if you want something unique and artsy. But there are tons of videos on there that can help you out.

I would also suggest learning basic make up jargin, so you don't get lost.

And nothing beats good quality make up products. You can be the best make up artst in the world, but if you use crappy cheap make up, it shows.

ELF has really great make up and most of its only a dollar! I love them and order from their store all the time. Shipping is a bit sluggish, but its totally worth it!

Anyway, I hope this helps!Need good makeup tips/tricks?
Depending on your mindset, I totally disagree with all the ';less is more'; comments.

';Less is more'; is good if you're very young and you just want to cover a blemish or you're just starting to learn what you're doing.

But, I think makeup should be fun, and bright colors, well-applied, can do that. I would advise you to wear makeup the way you like it - lots, a little bit, or none - and not to bow to others who would want you to do it differently.Need good makeup tips/tricks?
try going here: www.specktra.net it has a ton of inspirational makeup photos and tips and tutorials about lots of products and how to use them. you can sign up for free and the people are really friendly, it's for pro's and novice's.
You can uses your lip gloss on your cheeks to make your cheeks look dewy, but don't use alot.. You can also use your mascara and eyeliner.. Take a fine tipped eyeliner brush, put it into your mascara and then walla! you have instant eyeliner.
    -Not too much eyeliner.

    -Not too much mascara

    -Not too much eyeshadow.

    -Not too much foundation.

Do not go overboard with your makeup,

    less is more.
remember. makeup is only meant to bring our your beauty, not make your face SUPER noticeable.
Take some shimmery cream color eye shadow and put in on your brow bone and inner corner of the eye, it will make your eyes stand out more
Not too Much is the Key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    shure what are they?

Also with c scrunch hair using spairing ammounts of gel. curl sides for a quick glam, or flat iron it too!
Hair: try putting your nags to the side and pinning them with a clip i recommend getting layers and sidebangs it frames your face and with a curling iron you can flip it in or out!

Makeup: For eyes use a light neutral pparly kind of gold but not gold like a light light light or white one then use mascara on lashline on top and bottom then use macara so your eyes pop outline lips with your color and apply gloss if your face is clear use a tinted mousturiser and tansluscent powder!

your welcome this is what i do !!!

    tips:always be confident!!!!
Scrunch/curl your hair! But do it the right way (If you see girlls at your school who scrunch their hair and it looks all wet greasy and nasty for more than 20 minutes, they did it wrong) by using a sparing amount of mousse.

You can also look curly by braiding your hair tightly and letting it loose after a while. Or simply using a curling iron.

Do you use eyeliner? Use it! If you already do, put it on the both lids. Don't put it on too thick or you will look fake.

Try a new cut! Do you have bangs? Grow them out/pull them back! No? Get some cute bangs at the hairdressers. Layers look cute on people with long hair. Don't cut it too short or you will regret it. Go to a salon, not a cheap store like ';Super Cuts'; ';Great Clips'; ';Hair Cuttery'; or other stores with those names.
Ooh! There are A LOT of Howto make-up videos on youtube!

Either search them or go under Videos and then Howto %26amp; Style.

    Good luck!
u should like if u have long hair u should cut ur hair like the front long and the back short like till ur neck

    Makeup tips/tricks/ideas for teens?

I have blackish brown, almond shaped eyes, black hair, golden beige skin (around NC35-NC37 with MAC). I usually see people without any makeup (but I really want to try so I don't need any ';Don't wear makeup'; kind of answers) but then I see a lot of teenagers that wear a lot of eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc. I'm not sure if I should wear a LOT or just simple makeup. I'm only 14 (turning 15 though) so any help there?Makeup tips/tricks/ideas for teens?
ok seeing as ive nearly got the same complexion as you this might help (just a simple look) :D

for your eyes: youll need a goldish/brown/yellow shadow or eyeliner thats nearly the same color as your skin, black eyeliner, and black mascara

first put the goldish shadow/eyeliner on your lids and and also use it on the your lower lash line and at the inside corners of your eyes. then line the top of your eyes with black eyeliner. then use the black mascara on both lash lines (if youve got big dark lashes you wont need as much mascara)

in place of the goldish eyeliner/eyeshadow you could use a shimmery light brown

then keep your lips simple, light pink lip gloss or just clear lip gloss works fine

    other basic tips:

unless you've got some blemishes don't use foundation/cover up. it looks horrible. if you really want to ask your mom or someone whose had some experience. keep your skin clear by drinking water/eating healthy foods. you can also use clay masks once a week or the biore line is great

dont overpower your entire face. pick either your eyes or your lips to sort of hold the focus (as in if you put red lipstick on keep the eyes simple and vice versa)

keep in mind that since you've got dark hair and dark eyes you can get away with bolder eyes, so dont be afraid to experiment

youll hear this over and over again but its true: less is more! dont use a LOT of makeup, the girls who use loads of eyeliners dont look that great

if you get a bad reaction to some makeup stop using it! even things that say they are hypo-allergenic can sometimes cause reactions (i know from expereince)

    good luck!!

you could look online or in magazines for more ideas if you like wearing makeup

or email me if you need more help :D

    cantankerous47@yahoo.com

and dont wear much dark shadow because your eyes will get lost in them. light shimmery colors look great if applied correctlyMakeup tips/tricks/ideas for teens?
Since it seems like you'd have darker features I would stick to wearing dark makeup.

Do not wear light eye shadows.

If you did wear an eyeshadow, wear darker colors like Browns, Dark blues, Darker purples. Etc.

Since your eyes are dark, you can pull off dark makeup, but classy. Not trashy.

So for your eyeliner, wear a thin line of it on the top, liquid or pencil, liquid takes practice though. Id suggest mac cosmetics eyeliner, it is amazing, it is around 14 dollars. It is worth it though.

If you want to wear it on the bottom also, which i don't reccamend if its on top, do a thin line on the inside of your eyelid. It is easy, it seems hard but it isn't. AND IT DOES NOT GIVE INFECTIONS, i do it all the time.

Wear a good non chunky mascara on your top lashes, and on the bottom.

Tilt your head back while doing it though so you do not get it on your skin.

Once again, keep the eyeliner thin. or it will look trashy, %26amp; bad.

Wear a natural colored lip gloss, you don't want to look like a clown.

Oh %26amp; gold eye shadows look good w/ brown eyes.

There are many ways to experiment with makeup, have fun with it, and decide what YOU like.
when your young, less is more....young girls with raccoon eyes look cheap and like they have no clue as wearing make-up. If you go to the mall, have your mom take you to a clinique counter. If the ladies aren't busy, they'll give you a make over and a free consultation. Most any of the counters will, but clinique is for women who want to enhance w/o looking overly made up. You don't have to buy the products and you don't have to spend a lot on makeup. It's all in the prep (cleaning and moisturizing) and then the colors and application, and no one is better trained than the ladies at these cosmetic counters.
gold eye shadows usually look nice. Try different color eye liners if black is too dark for you. When you apply eye shadow line the brow line with white or silvery shadow so it doesnt look like you went overboard with eyeshadow. Dont were to much but mascara is the key to lookinh beautiful, it really opens up urs eyes.

    goodluck!
well, you definately shouldnt wear tons of liner/shadow.

purple, pink, and greens for shadow would prolly look good with ur brown eyes(cuz they do with mine).u could try the almay shadows for brown eyes...for liner and mascara, you should prolly use brown, but u dont hafta...and use peaches and pinks for lipgloss...

    hope i helped!:D
a really pretty way to turn out your eyes is the smokey eye and how you do that is that you have light brown eye shadow on one part of your eye lid and a dark brown (or black) on the other side and you can do this with other colors

it reallt is the trick...u don't want 2 look like a clown...seriously...it needs to look like u have natural beauty...it should enhance ur beauty....u don't want it to look like u need MU to make u looke pretty...u want 2 look naturally pretty...MU should only make ur beauty larger
just because it isn't generally used that way doesn't mean that's not the 'art of makeup'

Sex should be between two people in love but Dawson's Creek and other shows like it wouldn't be half as interesting without this person sleeping with that person who slept with their best friend and their teacher etc etc.
Well, yeah its true for day to day life, but i mean a normal person wouldnt color their face all up with it, like on tv.

you dont want it to look like you are wearing makeup, you want it to be natural looking
I agree, and I also heard that to achieve the 'natural' look is very hard when you have to use makeup to do it.
every day make up should seem natural and flawless, not like you had a green permanent marker stains all over your face(and this is an exaggeration XD)

evening makeup could be more extravagant
Huh? Did one fly over the cuckoos nest or what? Don't even go there cause he'll be wanting to wear a skirt, if he hasn't already.
i think natural looking makeup is beautiful.

    but its just my opinion.
really the trick is to do the normal stuff, but reaaaaaly lightly! and a thin layer of it.
    Well, that's kinda true.
    Yea ok
some make ups do that but they just make you look prettier with out wearing make up
    i heard that.

yahh becky said that on full house! haha i was watching that like a couple hours ago. how ironic.

i think that is the trick though, because if you wear too much makeup, it doesnt make you pretty, it just makes you hide all your natural beauty and its like your wearing a mask.

What's the trick to making eye makeup look like this?

its really cute but i'm having issues pulling it off

Hmm....I'd say start by lining your lower waterline and tightlining your upper lid (getting as close to the lashes as possible) with a dark brown or black eyeliner. Apply with a slightly heavy hand and make thicker lines. Or you could apply your eyeliner thinly and follow the drawn lines on top and bottom with dark brown eyeshadow- this is up to you and how comfortable you are using eyeliners or shadows. Next, brighten up the inner corners of your eyes and your browbone (right underneath the arch of your brow) by placing a soft shimmery pale pink/white eyeshadow. In the lid, apply a silvery pink shade (Stila Kitten would pull off this look exactly as shown) and blend it out. You could apply a soft cocoa color in the crease to define your eye some more, or leave it as it is. Finish up with two coats of volumizing and lengthening mascara (CG Volume Blast is a good one to try out) on top and bottom lashes. Groomed brows frame the eyes so make sure to brush them and color in any sparse areas with dark eyeshadow or eyeliner.

Hope this helps :)What's the trick to making eye makeup look like this?
you'll definitely need fake eyelashes, as well as lots of black eyeliner and black mascara.
looks like fake lashes. Make sure to apply the mascara a bit heavy to ';blend'; the falsies with the real ones.

It's basically a lighter shade on the eyelid and a darker shade in the crease., it also looks like she applied white eyeliner to the bottom inner rim, to make eyes look bigger.
She looks like she has silver eyeshadow towards the inner eye, and then blends out to a darker color, like grey. She lined her eyes with black eyeliner, on both top and bottom. She most likely has false eyelashes on, and a volumizing mascara on both upper and lower lashes. For her cheeks, she has a peachy colored blush. Her lips, she applied a nude colored lip gloss.

    Hope that helped! =)

False eyelashes on top AND bottom. And lots of eyeliner on top and bottom lids.
Eye liner (top and bottom). Lots of mascara!

I have troubles appling make up is there a trick to eye makeup?

do the best that you can and then take a Q-tip and wipe off the excess.I have troubles appling make up is there a trick to eye makeup?
For eyeliner, use a pencil you can smudge so you don't need to worry about making a perfect line like if you use liquid. Also, just do a few brushes of mascara so you avoid clumps. If you're worried about too much eyeshadow, find a shade that is maybe a brown to silverish that isn't too dark so that it doesn't look very heavy if you put on a lot. I hope this helps!I have troubles appling make up is there a trick to eye makeup?
Eyeliner is not always the best way to make your eyes pop....Eyeshadow can do wonders....If you try a light silverish eye shadow all over the lid, and put a little bit of darker color brown in the crease of your eye... ( you can find your crease by pulling your eyebrow up)....blend it down wards toward your lashes, then just highlight under your eyebrow with a shimmery white...then just a little eyeline and mascara and your good to go, ive come to realize that this works on just about anyone... :)) try with different colors as well...like

    Light pink and purple

    Light blue and dark blue

    silver and dark blue

    Cream brown, and dark brown

    White and dark brown
Put it on your eyes. Also, there is no such thing as too much eyeliner.
make sure no more than three shade always start with the lightest then move on to a dark then put a light color to calm it down
good brush %26amp; good shawdows. start with a primer, next the most colors youll need are 3.. the medium color, a base should be swep across the lid (middle area), use a lighter color (a highlighter) at your brow area %26amp; lash line area.. make sure you blend. for a more dramatic effect, you can use a 3rd darker color to blend into the lid and lash area (like a %26gt;) out and in.. look at pictures to get idea or go get a lesson by a professional. have fun %26amp; good luck gettin gthe look you want
Use good brushes. The little sponges that usually come with stuff are awful!
practice, practice, practice. In front of a mirror.
