What are some good smokey eye makeup tricks?

i just put black eye shadow on my eye lids and some mascara on my lashes is there a better way??What are some good smokey eye makeup tricks?
go on youtube and type in whatever you want. there are a lot of tutorials of different ways you can get the smokey eye look. but what you're doing isnt the smokey eye look. you're just wearing black eyeshadow. lolWhat are some good smokey eye makeup tricks?
don't use black eye shadow! use brown! wear brown eyeliner and smudge it a little, then sort of blend the eye shadow and eyeliner together. there's a lot of tutorials on youtube (like the other person said), so you can find a lot there to follow. good luck!
the best thing to do is to go to youtube and search ';smokey eye tutorial'; i think its much easier to learn from step by step videos rather then something someone types out...hope i helped..=)

you put eyeliner all over, then with a sponge or q-tip you smudge it a little.
