Is the hair/beauty & makeup industry big in Manilla?????

Where should I start as far as career goes??Is the hair/beauty %26amp; makeup industry big in Manilla?????
I would suggest marketing a line of products. Most of the commercials on TV and in newspapers are for hair and beauty products, usually the same few over and over. Skin whitening is very popular here. Electrolysis would also be another idea.Is the hair/beauty %26amp; makeup industry big in Manilla?????
Sweetheart, I think if your intent is to make money then you need to look for something else. Last time I was in the Philippines, my hair-cut, Manicure %26amp; pedicure came to 100 pesos ($2). Suggest you rethink this......
Ricky Reyes is the largest salon franchise in the Philippines. Salons in the Philippines is not as lucrative if your comparing it to the U.S. most especially if your not a well-known hairdresser. Why would you want to earn pesos when you can earn dollars??
If you know the right people. Start with going to fashion shows and introduce yourself to the designer(s). Sometimes, there are free fashion shows at some malls.
alot of competing salons here but who knows?......u'll make it big here?........
Not that big..there are a lot of similar business here. Competition is stiff.

Gambling and prostitution are still the all time favorite blockbuster business in Phils.
My cousin took classes at Franck Provost in Bel Air, Makati. It's quite expensive than most schools but you'll get more exposure.
