I have a couple of elf products. the prices are realllyyyy good but you just have to find what products work best for you. i found that the elf studio brushes are really good especially for the price. i dont suggest using like elf foundations or liners. i really do enjoy the eyebrow kit and the bronzer duo. but if your a makeup junkie why not? i love makeup and use all different kinds so i love trying different products, so if you are as well its worth a try its not expensive.Do you use ELF cosmetics/Makeup ?

Yes I love it! Their brushes are really good quality, I also like their eyeshadows! I don't reccomend their eyeliners though, some of their lipglosses are kinda sticky.

elf stands for eyes lips and face. It's a makeup line that sells one dollar makeup. It has this refer a friend thing and every time you refer a friend and that friend makes an order from elf you get a credit. Now when you get 100 credits supposedly you get free makeup for life...i was just curious if anyone has ever gotten it.Has anyone ever gotten enough credits for makeup for like on elf.com?
No, the women in my life don't use that. They prefer Nuskin, Elizabeth Arden, or Estee Lauder. I like the au natural myself.

I'm thinking about buying makeup from eyeslipsface.com and was wondering what you thought of it as a whole (service, products, etc.) I've read that the nail polish, lip gloss, brushes and brightening eye color are all great. So I'm wanting to get some of that plus various things like a make-up bag, eyelash curler, tweezers, etc. Are the products still good? (Because most of the reviews are from a year or two ago.) Well I've never used the make-up, but I am a proud owner of an elf brush (elf professional Defining Eye Brush). The bristles are very soft. It's perfect for applying eyeshadow on my lid, and on my crease, since I'm still saving up for more brushes. But until I get those brushes...then I think that this elf brush will do me just fine!! ;D
Its alright. Not a brand I would swear by though.

I use ELF all the time and it's a really great product. Chances are, if you haven't heard anything bad about it, then there's nothing bad to hear. ELF is a great line.. I've ordered several times from there.. The things i reccomend are the mineral makeup, mineral blush, their brushes are wonderful, fingernail polish, blotting sheets.. and i could go on for days..


What i wouldnt reccomend is the face products like concealer and pressed powder.. The mineral powder is good.. but the others are just eh, i mean you pay for what you get with those.. Their eyeshadows arent too pigmented like MAC's but, you get some good ones for everyday wear,.


I would say if you want a good face makeup, to go to MAC.
We have ELF in the UK too my friend gets loads of stuff and really loves all of it.





The price is cheap as the amounts you get seem to be smaller than what you would usually expect. That doesnt really bother me as I get bored of a colour after a while.

Well tell your dad that I think the elf site has low prices because with shipping a one dollar item could cost up to five dollars, so if they used the same price as in stores no one would want to buy them since it would be so expensive.

The eyeshadow is beautiful, however i bought a lumanizer and it was not that good even though it was apretty color.





The lip gloss is pretty good and it stays on for a long time.

I've owned many e.l.f products, and have never had the slightest problem. Remember they couldnt sell makeup products, if they were not safe for your face. Hey there!


I had never heard of e.l.f. before, but my friend had an all-over color stick that didn't match her skin color well- so she gave it to me!


I absolutely loved it! The color was ';pink lemonade'; and it had a special warmth that I haven't found anywhere else. I'm not a dermatologist, but my skin breaks out fairly easily- and this product didn't cause it to.


So, as a fan of their product line, I'd recommend their stuff- I'd say they're good quality for half the price. Well, more like a sixth :)
I'm a tad skeptical about e.l.f. products too.

I currently living at Malaysia and this lately, I've heard that many of my friends are using a make up product with brands ';ELF'; and they suggest me to buy one for a try. So I tought Im gonna buy any eyeshadow or cosmetic brush from eyeslipsface.com

To answer your question, yes. some Kmart stores to carry elf studio line. but they are really not reliable. Also certain targets, walmarts and biglots sometiems carry them. But again not reliable. I would order from their personal sight. www.eyeslipsface.com

I got all my brushes from their web site, and you can look up stores that have ELF items in it.





I would go on their website and get you the set or which ever brush you want.. You can wait it out too, sometime they have sales (you can sign up for the email) they will just email you with the info





Ex: Today from 2pm to 4pm you could have gotten mineral make up for 50% off! and could have used free shipping coupon with it (great deal huh!?)

The all over face stick is really bad. It's thick and heavy looking. It's bad for acne skin too.


For the liquid liner: you get what you paid for.


Don't get the mineral foundation if you have oily skin it just makes it look worse.

i'm not sure. but i've read tons of reviews from people who study makeup..it's result/effect/how long it last..etc.


and none of them truely loves it, but many many recomended their nail polish (comes in 12 shades) so i tried it, and its REALLY is as great as they said. at $1 it is such a greaat deal, i recomend it. everything else doens't look good at all :/ i heard the brushes are hard and useless, and the makeup hasnt done any wonders. but you should try it out if you want, and form your own opinion about it. personally, i have only tried the nail polish and i love it, and i don't see myself buying anyhting else from their collection.

Parabens are found in 90% of all products we use everyday. Check the bottle of your shampoo tomorrow. I promise you that it contains some form of paraben, be it methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl. Firstly, parabens are used as a preservative, usually in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. This chemical addition is cheap, effective and easily disguisable. Parabens are often disguised with names such as Methylben, methyl ester, benzoic acid, benzoate, and Aseptoform Butyl: the possibilities are endless. i just finished ordering lip gloss from them! last time i ordered from them i got their SPF 15 lip gloss, chapstick, eyeshadow and I was very satisfied. their makeup is cheap in price but not in quality. I purchased a few of their mineral blushes and their mineral glow a couple of months ago. Hated the mineral glow but their blushes were pretty good. They're a bit chalky but the color is great.
You get get elf at KMart and Burlington's... I know Burlingtons' have those sets.. mine at least.





I love their facial whip as an eyeshadow base. I think it beats Urban Decay Primer, because this shimmering facial whip is sticky, and pops your colors better.
I tried their Mineral Makeup once and was not at all happy with it. It was very poor quality.

It is better to save up and have better items in your make-kit that actually work, than to keeping buying lots of cheap items that don't.





Think about it. If every few weeks you buy a new cheap eyeliner cos you cant find one that is cheap and works then you could end up spending 10 lots of $5 over a year to still not have a good eyeliner, whereas if you just spent the $30 in the first place and bought a good one, you'd have saved $20 and have a really good eyeliner.





Buy quality always over quantity and you wont regret your purchase.Is elf makeup like crappy?
I haven't tried e.l.f. but I know some people love them, so I guess it can't be that bad. The main reason it is cheap, I guess, is that they are generally an online store, and you can't get them at walgreens or cvs. If you are worried, only buy lip products from them, cause lip products have the same quality whether it is from e.l.f. or dior.


I've tried wetnwild, which is also really cheap, and it isn't bad.
The mascara and liquid liner is horrible.


The other items like the eyeshadows are OKAY, but you'll need a primer. Their new studio line has a primer and i heard the studio line is actually acceptable. I love their studio line! It's $3.
i dont know about their makeup, but their makeup brushes are great.

It's good for the price. Some of their products are better than others. It's not amazing stuff, but it's not completely terrible either.


Their lipgloss is alright. Kinda thick though. That's all I've tried.
Well they're exactly the same as almost the other brands, only a smaller amount! i love them! The lipgloss lasts for long, and the eyeshadow and stuff is very shimmery and pretty, I JUST LOVE IT! :]
the onlt thing i own is the eyeshadow. I have sensitive eyes and the powder is too loose so it gets in my eyes and the colors are terrible. I don't really like their products.
ive never used them but i heard they kinda suck and you get what you paid for :PP aka..their kinda cheap.

I have some eyeshadow and lipgliss from them and i absolutley love it! they're really easy to apply and the colors are fantastic! i definatley reccomend it :D
I really like their pencil eyeliners, it was only like $1 for a pencil and its sharpener
the nailpolish is the only thing i like the lipgloss i got got all over the place and was very sticy

elf makeup is pretty cheap. you pretty much get what you pay for. the powders usually break and make a huge mess. i'd go for something at least a little more expensive like covergirl. their stuff is always amazing.
the brushes are GREAT! however i find the liploss is a little too thick (at least for me). the eyeshadow and blush is ok.


The eyeliner is absolutely horrible. I wouldn't say its the BEST. but in general its ok.
I bought 30 dollars worth and everything worked very well.


The brushes are great, and if you buy from the 3 dollar studio line everythings better.
